Black Alcyon Mini
This work is built slowly by hand in my Savannah studio. Please allow approximately 12-16 weeks for completion before shipment.
Sculptural and richly dimensional, the Mini Alcyon — Noir is a hand-sculpted porcelain wall piece inspired by the rhythmic formations of coral. Individually shaped elements radiate outward in layered clusters, creating a sense of movement and depth that shifts with the light.
Crafted from high-fired black porcelain, the surface is left unglazed to reveal a soft matte finish with subtle tonal variation along the edges. The deep charcoal-black tone lends a quiet intensity, offering a striking contrast against lighter walls while integrating seamlessly into more minimal, tonal interiors.
