Obsidian is a sculptural wall composition of five hand-sculpted black porcelain micro tiles exploring texture, repetition, and organic structure.
Each tile is individually formed by hand in my studio, creating a study in layered surfaces and rhythmic botanical patterns. The varied textures evoke clustered growth and natural formations while maintaining a refined, architectural presence.
Crafted from black porcelain, the soft matte surface reveals subtle tonal variation, with lighter gray edges that highlight the dimensional depth of each sculptural form.
Each tile measures approximately 5" x 5" x 2" deep.
Installed in the linear composition shown, the installation measures approximately 30" wide x 5" high, though spacing may be adjusted to suit your interior.
Each tile includes a discreet hanging system with hardware and installation guidance for seamless placement.
