Briar
Briar is a voluptuous, beautifully asymmetrical form — a soft, curving vessel shaped by red and black stoneware marbled with porcelain. Its silhouette feels feminine and organic, almost petal-like, with rounded contours that rise and fall in an undulating rhythm.
Intricate veining in warm red, deep black, and soft white creates a naturally stone-like surface, giving the piece depth and quiet drama. Hand-sculpted and high-fired in my Savannah studio, this bowl is finished with a satin, honed texture reminiscent of carved marble.
Measuring 8 1/4" x 7 1/2" x 2 1/2", it’s a striking standalone accent — perfect for collectors drawn to organic modern forms and richly layered earth tones.
