Frostline
Refined and quietly dramatic, Frostline showcases the subtle beauty of marbled black stoneware and white porcelain. Its soft square form rises in gentle curves, creating a sculptural rim that feels both crisp and organic—like wind-carved snow or the contour lines of a winter landscape.
Hand-built slowly in my studio, the surface reveals delicate black veining drifting across a matte, porcelain-forward body. The interior features a softer marbling, giving the piece depth and a serene, frosted presence.
High-fired for strength and finished with a satin, stone-like sheen, this one-of-a-kind piece is sealed with a food-safe acrylic, allowing it to function as both an art object and a serving vessel.
