Marra
Softly sculpted and richly patterned, Marra brings together porcelain, black stoneware, and deep red stoneware in a flowing, high-contrast composition. Its gently oval form rises in smooth, undulating curves, revealing warm, organic marbling that looks almost geological—like layers of clay shaped by movement and time.
Hand-built slowly in my studio, the surface blends soft white, inky black, and earthy red-orange tones with natural variation throughout. Finished with a satin, honed-clay sheen and sealed with a food-safe acrylic, it’s both a functional vessel and a sculptural object.
