Inkstone
Bold yet refined, Inkstone brings together the softness of a rounded form with the drama of marbled porcelain and black stoneware. Hand-built slowly in my studio, its surface reveals a striking interplay of flowing lines and abstract interior patterning—resembling ink washed across stone or the swirling contours of natural terrain.
The shape is gentle and romantic, rising in soft curves with a subtly sculpted rim. High-fired and finished with a satin, honed-marble sheen, this one-of-a-kind piece is sealed with a food-safe acrylic, allowing it to function beautifully as either a sculptural statement or serving vessel.
