Black Protea
This work is built slowly by hand in my Savannah studio. Please allow approximately 16–20 weeks for completion before shipment.
The Protea wall sculpture captures the striking architecture of its namesake bloom in bold, sculptural form. Hand-sculpted from fine, high-fired black porcelain, each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art, revealing the subtle variations and refined detail that only come from the human hand.
Measuring 6" D x 3" H, the matte black surface reveals soft gray edges that catch and shift with changing light, adding quiet movement and depth. Its organic form makes it equally compelling as a stand-alone statement or as part of a larger installation.
Designed for effortless display, the Protea features a built-in hanging system with simple instructions, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into any interior. Pair it with other pieces from the collection for a cohesive, nature-inspired composition.
