Sand Dollar Trinket Dish
This elegant Sea Biscuit dish is molded in fine porcelain clay from an actual sea biscuit and is adorned with 18k Gold hand painted trim.
These dishes are designed so that you can display them upside down when not in use, making them a wonderfully versatile little dish and a great gift idea. Use them to hold trinkets, rings or sugar and salts. Available with a sweet little bamboo spoon or without.
The interior of the dish is coated with my copper blue glaze, and the textured exterior of the bowl is left unglazed. The blue does catch some effects from the gold firing, so there may be some variation and dark spots - these are just part of the ceramic process and add to the beauty of these bowls. The glaze is a translucent blue green that pools in the center. The center is a vibrant shade of blue with clouds and wisps of white, pale blue and violet.
These dishes measure approximately 2.5-3" wide x 3.5-4" long x 1" high. I used a variety of Sea Biscuits to make my molds, so each one of these is unique. If you wish for a set that stack, please let me know!
** This bowl is food safe and we recommend hand washing.
** Please note this is a completely handmade item; each one is unique and measurements are approximate. There may be slight variations from the listed measurements.
